Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure (required for all applicants)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated school-based experience or a strong desire to support K-12 populations
- Ability to work onsite; remote or virtual services are not permitted for this position
- Commitment to tailoring support based on students’ needs as caseload details become available
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to a diverse range of students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Perform assessments and develop individualized plans in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school professionals regarding student needs and progress
