Step into a dynamic environment supporting students with speech and language needs in a school-based setting near Dover, DE. As an on-site SLP, you'll collaborate with educators to empower students through high-quality therapy, evaluation, and IEP support. This full-time, 37.5-hour per week position spans Monday through Friday during the '26/'27 school year. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Delaware SLP licensure/certification (confirmation required with application)
- SLP-CCC credentials preferred
- Previous experience delivering school-based speech-language therapy
- Expertise in evaluation, IEP writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP systems a plus
- Must have reliable transportation for on-site only assignment
- Please note: SLPAs are not being considered for this role
What You'll Do:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy services to assigned caseload (grades and numbers to be determined)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Write clear, actionable IEPs and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress monitoring data
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student success
