School Speech Language Pathologist - Douglasville, Georgia

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (no SLPAs)
- Active and valid Georgia PSC certification (recently required)
- Current state licensure for SLPs in Georgia
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening for credentialing
- Ability to adapt to changing caseload sizes and sites as determined by school needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Conduct assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in developing and adjusting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations
- Participate in team meetings, provide consultation, and offer professional recommendations
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students
Enjoy working in a single campus setting with strong staff collaboration and support. Prescreen interviews are a part of the internal review process—candidates must be available on a weekday between 9-11 am or 2-3 pm EST; some flexibility is available.
