Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Bronx, NY
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential leave coverage services in a K-12 school setting serving students ages 12 to 21. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver individualized speech therapy in compliance with students’ IEPs, making a significant impact during a critical period for these learners.
Location: Bronx, NY
Position Type: Leave Coverage (Contract)
Schedule: Part-time (25-30 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Assignment Duration: March 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver IEP-mandated speech-language services to students aged 12-21
- Evaluate, assess, and monitor student progress following established protocols
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathology License
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in K-12 settings
- Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus
