This contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role located in Woodland, CA, serving a K-12 student population. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek, operating entirely onsite within a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Manage caseloads tailored to experience and preferences, with support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for heavier caseloads.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Utilize expertise to assess and address a diverse range of communication disorders.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Eligibility for or possession of necessary educational credentials (NPI/CTC).
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
