Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dewey, AZ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year in Dewey, AZ. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour work week and provides service to students across a K-12 caseload. Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Travel SLPs are also welcome to consider this position.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as an SLP with CCC or currently completing CFY
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Possession or eligibility to obtain an Arizona state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district guidelines
