Qualifications:
• Active SLP license in Michigan required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or passion for working with early childhood and elementary populations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices
• School-based SLP experience or pediatric SLP experience highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in Early On, kindergarten, first, and second grades
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals
• Document progress and maintain thorough records
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support students in achieving communication, social, and academic milestones within a nurturing setting
