Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Michigan SLP license required
- ASHA CCCs are welcomed; strong support available for Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience or interest in pediatric/school settings preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a school-based caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and provide tailored interventions for students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies as required
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Engage positively with students and contribute to an inclusive learning environment
