School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan

This contract opportunity seeks experienced Speech-Language Pathologists with full CCCs to deliver onsite services to a caseload of 40–55 students in an ASD environment. With multiple positions available, the school team values your expertise in fostering positive communication outcomes and creating supportive learning atmospheres.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) with certificate of clinical competence (CCC)
- Direct experience in a school-based setting, particularly with students on the autism spectrum
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills to manage service delivery for moderate caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and individualized therapy for students with a range of communication challenges in an ASD classroom setting
- Participate in IEP meetings, supporting goal setting and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other support staff to integrate intervention strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress to key stakeholders
- Offer training and support to staff and caregivers to promote communication supports and generalization
