Desired Experience and Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, working with children on the autism spectrum, strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to therapy and student needs
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct SLP therapy to students in ASD classrooms
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and best-practice documentation of student services
- Contribute to interdisciplinary teams, supporting positive student outcomes and compliance with special education regulations
