Bring your expertise as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to help shape young lives and empower meaningful communication for a diverse group of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in good standing, with CCC’s completed and up-to-date
- Prior experience delivering speech therapy services in school or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and families
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and oral
- Capacity to manage and organize caseloads efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of 40-55 students in an ASD classroom environment
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and support staff
- Track pupil progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to teams and families
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and families for implementing supportive strategies in and out of the classroom
- Participate in meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives within the district
