Speech Language Pathologist in Destin, FL

In this full-time opportunity, you’ll spend up to 37.5 hours per week collaborating with educators and families to support student growth. Your placements will be in Crestview, serving either Northwood Elementary or Southside School (PreK), focusing on providing high-quality, in-person therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs. Caseload details and age groups will be discussed during the interview process, ensuring the best match for your skill set and interests.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current FL Department of Health Provisional SLP License (required)
- Strong preference for previous school-based SLP experience
- Commitment to working onsite (virtual roles are not available)
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance and acquisition of a JLA badge
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver speech and language interventions for school-aged children
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP goals, progress, and strategies
- Engage with families and school staff, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting as required by district policies
