Speech Language Pathologist in Des Plaines, IL

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license in the state of Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in an educational or school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 26 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success
- Complete progress monitoring, required documentation, and assessments
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
