Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active Illinois SLP license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience working in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, is highly valued
• Strong ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech and language services to elementary students based on IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support classroom strategies and inclusion
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary discussions
• Advocate for students’ needs while engaging families and caregivers in the therapeutic process
