School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Derry, New Hampshire
Step into an engaging school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle and high school students. This contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact during the academic year, working with a dedicated team in a dynamic educational setting.
You’ll provide direct speech-language therapy, work collaboratively with educators and families, and champion progress for a diverse student population. The assignment runs full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 24, 2026, through June 17, 2027. With onsite hours scheduled Monday through Friday, you’ll become a valued part of the school community.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Current, active SLP license in New Hampshire
- Previous experience in school-based settings
- Experience managing middle and high school caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students
- Conduct evaluations and regularly assess student progress
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Consult with teachers and families to support student success
- Document services and maintain compliance with district/state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
