Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active license to practice as an SLP in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication challenges
- Conduct assessments and create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student success
- Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers and families regarding communication strategies
