This contract position offers a consistent 32-hour workweek from Monday to Thursday, supporting a caseload of 30 students. The role includes the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), fostering collaborative care in speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the SLPA, ensuring quality care and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a school environment serving K-12 students.
- Strong caseload management skills for approximately 30 students.
- Experience or willingness to supervise SLPA staff.
- Commitment to a contract lasting through June 4, 2026, with a start date ASAP.
