Speech Therapist in Stone Mountain, GA

Full-time and part-time roles are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 3rd and running through May 27th. Most caseloads are assigned to a single site, serving diverse age groups from preschool to high school.
Openings are available across a variety of school settings, including preschools, elementary, and charter schools with a range of needs—from low-incidence units to bilingual roles. Interviewing is underway now to secure placements for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an active Georgia Department of Education Certificate
- Hold a valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads, including students with varying needs and backgrounds
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to travel to a specific site (no teletherapy positions available)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in assigned schools
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide support throughout the intervention process
- Contribute expertise to special programs, including low-incidence and bilingual student populations
