Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP Michigan license (SLI MI)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations, preferably in school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a range of student needs and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, primarily at the high school level with opportunities for involvement with younger students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain comprehensive records and progress notes
- Participate in district meetings and contribute expertise for student support initiatives
