As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM. Your responsibilities will include managing a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, with a focus on conducting evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs. This is an ideal opportunity for both CCC-SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows seeking a rewarding and collaborative school-based experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or consideration for Clinical Fellows
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and working within school settings
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans for K–2 students
- Compassionate communicator dedicated to student growth and success
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for evaluations and ongoing therapy
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students, supporting skill development
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Complete timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
