Requirements and Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active and valid state licensure in Michigan for SLP practice
- Minimum of one year of school-based experience preferred
- Will not accept Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to onsite work only
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and functional communication
- Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings throughout the school year
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and families as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
