Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the appropriate state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Experience working within schools or with pediatric populations, preferably in ASD settings
- Strong ability to tailor assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with families, teachers, and other support staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans for students with individualized goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive support system
- Document student progress and maintain all required records in accordance with district and professional standards
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team conferences
- Supervise, as needed, any support staff or SLP assistants
