With the opportunity to support a caseload of 40–55 students, you’ll work onsite in a dynamic educational environment, collaborating with other professionals to make meaningful changes in students’ communication skills. Multiple contract positions are available, inviting skilled clinicians to contribute their expertise and passion.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license with current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a K–12 school setting, especially working with ASD populations, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite throughout the full school year
- Adaptable and collaborative, comfortable partnering with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language interventions for students on the autism spectrum
- Consult and collaborate with special education teachers and other school staff to support student progress
- Document student performance, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and recommended strategies with families and caregivers
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student growth and self-advocacy
