Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload and support students with a range of communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to onsite service delivery; this opportunity is not available for virtual/remote work
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to create supportive learning environments and facilitate strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the problem-solving process for student needs
