Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
- Familiarity supporting students with a range of speech and language needs, including those with mild cognitive disabilities or on the spectrum
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
- Excellent case management, documentation, and progress monitoring abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and appropriate interventions
- Deliver therapy services to students in both general and special education settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain required compliance documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultative services and resources for staff and families as needed
