A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Davis, CA, supporting students within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services tailored to the individual needs of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet specific communication goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions addressing speech, language, and related areas
- Track and document patient progress with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care
- Involve and educate families in the therapeutic process to support carryover and progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California, with active approval from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology required
- Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
