A school-based opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential speech and language support to students from Pre-K through 6th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across Pre-K to 6th grade
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development related to speech-language pathology services
Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially within a Pre-K to 6th grade setting
- Knowledge of school-based speech and language evaluation and intervention techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
