Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Haven, CT
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a high school in New Haven, CT, for the current school year (CSY). This contract position involves working collaboratively with another SLP to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students. The ideal candidate will have experience in school-based speech-language pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Knowledge of AAC devices is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Collaborate with partnering SLP to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in staff meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Support communication needs through AAC device knowledge and utilization
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure for school settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with high school student caseloads
- Familiarity with AAC devices is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Position: Full-time, with options for part-time and hybrid schedules
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract through End of School Year (EOSY)
