Speech and Language Pathologist in Middleburg, FL
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Middleburg, FL, serving multiple school sites within the local district. This contract role requires an experienced professional to deliver speech-language services to a diverse student population ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, focusing primarily on mild to moderate needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality speech-language assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for an estimated caseload of 60 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans.
- Manage an itinerant schedule, delivering services across various school locations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLP licensure is mandatory.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is preferred.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently, including itinerant work across multiple sites.
- Completion of required fingerprinting and background checks, with valid AHCA Clearinghouse status or willingness to undergo clearance for a JLA badge.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location: Middleburg, FL
Contract Type: Full-time contract, 35 hours per week (typically 7 hours daily)
