Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly at the middle school level, is preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Confident with evaluations, therapy, IEP writing, and collaboration with educators and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy for students in accordance with educational guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of intervention and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to create an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the special education team
- Provide resources and education to staff and families as needed to support communication goals
