Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- School- or pediatric-based SLP/SLPA experience preferred
- Experience working with children ages 3-5 is a plus
- Bilingual abilities strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
- Organized, motivated, and compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech and language therapy under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collect data and help develop goals tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct intervention with small groups or individual students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to generalize communication strategies
- Help create and prepare materials for therapy sessions
- Monitor and record progress toward identified objectives
