A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for maternity leave coverage in the northern Atlanta area. This opportunity is based onsite in Cumming, GA, serving elementary-aged students at a single school location. The contract assignment runs from early to mid-March through the end of the school year (May 22, 2026), with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Department of Education certification
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Maternity leave coverage experience is a plus
- SLPA candidates will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Attend relevant meetings and professional development sessions as needed
