What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
- Experience providing school-based speech and language services preferred
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children of diverse abilities and backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Provide resources and strategies to educators and families to facilitate students’ academic and social development
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines related to speech-language services
