Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- NY SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings and with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and team members
- Work closely with onsite teaching assistants to deliver high-quality interventions
- Consult with educators and families to promote understanding and strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
