What you’ll do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as specified in their IEPs
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, prepare progress reports, and maintain accurate documentation
- Offer guidance and education to families and school staff on speech-language issues
Qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Prior experience working in school settings desired
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student populations
