Step into a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity supporting students during a key leave period this fall. This contract assignment offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) for the first nine-week grading term, with onsite work across two school locations. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) license required
- Valid professional license; must provide documentation upon request
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Willingness to supervise a bilingual SLPA as part of your responsibilities
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is needed
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and background checks promptly
- Commitment to working onsite
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with assigned caseload needs
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective student outcomes
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and support for a bilingual SLPA
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and professional standards
- Adjust support and therapy approaches to serve a diverse student population effectively
