This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist seeking a balanced blend of on-site engagement and flexible remote work. Help high school students overcome barriers and reach their full potential during a pivotal academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLP-CCC or are in CFY, with active state licensure
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Confident working with adolescents (grades 9–12)
- Solid understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 high school students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in line with educational guidelines
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student growth and advocacy
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide staff in-service as needed
- Split your workweek with four days on-site direct therapy and one day remote for paperwork and virtual services
