Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for California
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred but not required
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Track progress and maintain clear, accurate documentation
- Coordinate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
