Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior school-based experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is highly valued
- CTC (California Teaching Credential) may be required for certain positions
- Fluency in a second language is essential
- Comfortable supporting students across all K-12 grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students needing speech/language services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students with communication challenges
- Monitor and document student progress toward therapeutic goals, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise to guide student success
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other school staff to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
