A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Concord, CA, working within an elementary school setting. Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) License valid for California
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate documentation
  • Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes and compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of services and student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to student education plans
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse learning styles and communication needs
  • Manage caseload efficiently, including service delivery across two sites if necessary
