Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language assessment, and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, educators, and families
- Adaptability and organizational skills to work across various caseloads and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in consultation with school teams
- Deliver targeted individual and group speech-language therapy to help students achieve measurable academic and social goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance reports
- Serve as a resource to educators and families regarding speech and language strategies and accommodations
- Attend professional development sessions and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required
