Speech Pathology - Columbus, GA
A full-time, virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support a public school district in Columbus, Georgia, from ASAP through May 21, 2026. This contract role requires 37.5 hours per week, strictly within school hours (7.5 hours per day).
In this position, the SLP will play a crucial role in scheduling and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, preparing related documentation—including Reevaluations (RDRs), writing IEPs, and maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and educational staff. The role includes providing direct therapy services and potentially supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to managing time effectively and ensuring maximum delivery of direct services while completing all planning and paperwork promptly. Daily log submissions are required every week prior to timesheet approval.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Valid Georgia Educator License
- Previous experience supervising SLPAs is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time efficiently within a virtual school setting
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Proven reliability and professionalism in meeting deadlines and completing documentation

Responsibilities:
