Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations and school-aged children
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with school documentation
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for various speech and language disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for parent, staff, and student collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
  • Deliver individual and group therapy, adjusting approaches for elementary, middle, or high school caseloads depending on assignment
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and document interventions as required by school and state guidelines
  • Educate teachers and families on communication strategies to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
