Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Position
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to work with a K–8th grade student population in a supportive school environment, with another SLP on-site for collaboration and support.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Available Schedules:
- 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM
- 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM
- Caseload: Approximately 40–60 students.
- Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 8th grade.
- School Support: Another SLP will be working in the building to provide additional support and collaboration.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K–8.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, school staff, and other related service providers.
- Participate in meetings and support students' communication and educational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Pay: $45-$50/hour (negotiable based on experience)
