Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with various speech, language, and communication disorders in a pediatric population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students as referred through the special education process
- Develop tailored treatment plans and set goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students for speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and documentation
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and maintain detailed records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families to foster student growth
