In this full-time, on-site opportunity, you’ll provide critical speech and language services across multiple school sites, supporting diverse student needs and helping them achieve their communication goals. This contract runs through May 20, 2027, with immediate openings for two dedicated professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid NM Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites (itinerant assignment)
- Skilled in assessment, developing IEPs, and delivering individualized therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement IEP-focused interventions for a range of age groups (exact caseload and population to be determined)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant team
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and district-wide initiatives
