Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Clifton Forge, VA

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Virginia and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in a K–12 school setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting approach as needed
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, providing updates and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in speech and language development
- Support school initiatives related to communication and language
