An opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential support in K-12 educational settings. These contract positions focus on delivering comprehensive speech therapy services tailored to the needs of students across various age groups, from preschool through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to students to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development.
Position Details:
- Preschool Support SLP: Service period from March 2 to May 28.
- K-12 Support SLP: Service period from April 7 to May 28. Location: Mentor, Ohio – serving a comprehensive K-12 school district.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience supporting pediatric populations within school settings.
- Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for applicable candidates.
- Strong knowledge of school-based protocols and individualized education programs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
