Exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist seeking to make an impact in an elementary school environment near Clermont, FL. This on-site position starts as early as November 2, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, or as soon as district clearance is achieved. Part-time schedule: three days a week, working 22.5 hours total—eight hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You'll work within a supportive educational team and be instrumental in helping students at the elementary level reach their communication goals. Interviews are taking place immediately, targeting the week of October 28.
Key Qualifications:
- Active provisional, SLP DOH license, or FLDOE certification required
- Possession of a professional license as mandated by the state of Florida
- School-based experience is highly preferred, though not mandatory
- Comfortable with time-sensitive credentialing and two-part onboarding
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to school-aged children
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and complete required district documentation
- Manage a caseload at Fruitland Park Elementary; specific age group will be finalized
