A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood evaluation services onsite in Clearwater, FL. This role focuses on administering speech and language evaluations as part of a preschool screening program. Candidates with CCC certification or in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments for 3-year-old preschool children as part of the ChildFind program
- Conduct evaluations onsite at various locations within the district or full-time at a designated school from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade
- Document findings and collaborate with school teams to support early intervention needs
- Commit to up to 7.5 hours of billable work per day (8-hour day total), with flexible scheduling options ranging from one day per week to full-time
Qualifications:
- Florida state license to practice as an SLP (SLPA candidates are not eligible)
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologists holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); supervision for CFY candidates will be arranged
- Experience working with preschool-age children preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Clearwater and surrounding district locations

- This position requires onsite presence within a well-mapped school district in the Tampa Bay area, encompassing a broad geographic region including Clearwater, FL
